Building Community by Serving Others
We are committed to developing and equipping Christian servant leaders who are active and compassionate participants in the communities they serve. From service-focused class activities to community and international service opportunities, MEI students gain a deeper understanding of what it means to serve and love others as Christ does, and to apply this knowledge to all aspects of their lives.
MEI Serves
We are a missions-minded school and encourage our students to extend themselves sacrificially to those around them. MEI Schools students of all grades participate in a number of community-based outreach initiatives and service opportunities. Grade 8-12 students have the opportunity to join the missions program and teams serve varying locations and people groups, with a trip taking place during Spring Break.

Chapel
Each school community gathers weekly for Chapel, participating in worship and experiencing biblical teaching activities. Chapel may occur more frequently during events such as Spiritual Emphasis Week, when students are challenged and encouraged by a guest speaker and specially planned activities.
Worship Team
MEI Middle and Secondary student worship leaders are mentored by a teacher and increasingly take on chapel leadership responsibilities as the year progresses. The Worship Team is a hard working group of students that sacrifices their time to practice and perfect their musical and worship leading skills. Students perform using a variety of musical instruments such as piano, guitar, violin, and drums.
