MEI Preschool
MEI Preschool curriculum is deeply rooted in the knowledge that children learn best through hands-on experiences, and all aspects of the curriculum are Christ-centered.

Play. Learn. Grow.
We strive to bring creativity and imagination into the preschool classroom. These experiences are offered through the use of circle times, art, literacy activities, special events, outside play and field trips. MEI Preschool offers an atmosphere through which children will develop a healthy self-esteem, confidence, desire to learn, an appreciation and consideration of others, a responsibility to care for our environment. MEI Preschool also offers a Christ-centered environment that includes Bible stories, active worship, and prayer time.
Staff
MEI Preschool staff are all licensed Early Childhood Educators and/or Assistants and each hold a current First Aid certificate. Fraser Valley Child Development Centre provides one-to-one support for children in the preschool who require additional support. Practicum students from local colleges/universities may participate from time to time in the program as part of their professional training.

This class gives younger preschoolers a great start in their preschool career. Our play based curriculum grants children the opportunity to enter into play situations that will further their social, emotional and cognitive development.
For your 4-year-old
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 8:40 - 11:10am or 12:15 - 2:45pm
Both of these classes have the opportunity to enjoy library time weekly at MEI Elementary. The morning class also joins the elementary classes on Friday mornings for chapel.
For your 4-year-old
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 12:15 - 2:45pm
This nature immersion class provides an outdoor learning environment that allows each child to grow in understanding and respect for Christ and His creation. We use MEI’s property across from the elementary school as our classroom and are outdoors rain or shine. The child-centred curriculum empowers children and provides them with an inquiry based learning opportunity to connect with their environment, allowing children the freedom to gain confidence while facing new and developmentally appropriate challenges.
