Class of 1959 (Grade 13 graduating class of 1960)’s 3-Day 55th MEI Reunion was held at Stillwood Camp & Conference Centre from June 3-5, 2015.

Registration at the event (Wednesday) was an exciting time, as about 50 students, grads, and spouses from all parts of BC and Alberta met again after many years to reminisce and share in our aptly chosen theme of “Highlights and Hurdles”. After a lovely supper, the ice-breaker games created many a chuckle as we learned more about each other.
The next morning (Thursday), we gathered to share life experiences with each other, pray for those of us carrying concerns, and a memorial time remembering those who are no longer with us. After lunch we enjoyed free time and hiking the many trails in the trees and hills of the camp. Supper was followed by a delightful concert by the MEI Chamber Singers, directed by Dean Wedel.

On the final morning (Friday) we wandered in the beauty of God’s nature singing songs in acapella, which brought back memories of the choir we sang in years ago.
We appreciate the Christian Institute of learning where we felt like family way back then, and still do.
