Donald Allen Voth was born Sept 9, 1949 in Chilliwack, BC. He married his high school sweetheart Elma (Nickel) on May 30, 1969
In their 53 years of marriage, Don and Elma raised three children: Pamela (Ratzlaff, MEI Class of 1990), Laurel (Edwards, MEI Class of 1992) and Mark (MEI Class of 1995). They also welcomed 9 precious grandchildren.
Don was a proud “Papa” and loved attending his grandchildren’s events, whether it be volleyball, dance, skipping or hockey. He was an avid cheerleader.
Don had an entrepreneurial spirit, owning several construction companies, branching into real estate development and, in his later years, farming.
Most importantly, Don loved the Lord. He devoted much time to serving on various boards, such as CBC, Trinity Western University, Northview Community Church, Alderbrook Community Church and Campus Crusade for Christ/Power to Change. He wasn’t shy about his faith and he shared it with friends and colleagues alike.
A celebration of Don’s life was held Monday, Oct 3/22 at 11:00am at Church in the Valley 23589 Old Yale Road, Langley, BC V2Z 2K4.
