Thank you for participating in the MEI Friends & Alumni Awards program. Thanks to donors like you, the work of MEI graduates is rewarded and they are encouraged to pursue their goals through post-secondary education. Your support and generous contributions are greatly appreciated.
Per CRA guidelines, receipts are issued in the name of the payee (the cardholder): if paid personally, with a personal donation receipt, if paid by a business, with a business donation receipt. Charitable Registration Number: 10769 1065 RR0001
All donations made to the MEI Friends & Alumni Program are non-refundable. Per CRA guidance “A registered charity cannot return a donor’s gift. At law, a gift transfers ownership from the donor to the charity. Once the transfer is made, the charity is obliged to use the gift in carrying out its charitable purposes.”
Each contribution directed toward the MEI Friends & Alumni Program will be confined within the program with the understanding that when the need has been met, or an award recipient is unable to meet the eligibility criteria of the award, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.
